All workshops are designed to be run on a Station where there is a RAFTA affiliated club. Any club may request a workshop on a subject of their choice and the RAFTA Committee will appoint a workshop tutor to run a one or two day workshop.

Here are a few workshops that have been run on stations in the past. Please feel free to tailor them to suit your own needs, or if your needs are not covered here please provide the Committee with the scope of the workshop you require and every effort will be made to make sure you needs are met.

• Acting - Basic
• Acting - Advanced
• Acting - Specific to style i.e. farce, restoration, comedy, absurd etc...
• Pantomime
• Stage Management
• Stage Design
• Adjudication
• Demystifying Shakespeare
• Understanding Brecht
• History of Theatre
• Lighting
• Make Up
• Sound
• Costume Design
• Staging a Major Production
• Starting up a new club

This list is by no means an exhaustive one. If a club would like to run their own workshops but require some help and advice on how to set them up, or, if a club would like to take advantage of a RAFTA run workshop then, in the first instance, please contact the Information Officer for further details.
